An’non is a contemporary take on the concept of relaxation through the action of drinking a warm cup of tea. Bringing balance whithin oneself with re.lax and enjoy your break.
How To:

Redefining the experience of drinking tea by incorporating a new set of rituals. Hold with two hands in order to experience the calmness as the warmth of the cup travels to your hands. After a long day of work or day, the specific design of the drinkware will force the user to have their both hands be occupied inorder to prevent any “multi-tasking”. This new ritual in thier day to day life will be a meditative measure.

Exploring a new definition of a “drinking vessel”. Inspired by nature and its imprints caused by water erosion. These series of drinking vessels imitates the randomness found in nature.
Inspired by how naturally water gets collected over time.
A serious of collection of “accidental imprints” where the
cavity gets filled up with water thus creating a naturally
formed drinking vessels.

Reimagining picnic baskets for two people. Inspired by the gift giving culture in Korea during 추석 (chu-seok) Korean Thanksgiving, containing different fruits and vegetables. The project is a contemporary reinterpretation of the gift sets made out of porcelain using the slip casting method. The ceramic apples can be used to store foods,sweets, for different types of delicacy special to the gifter and the receiver.

Salt and pepper containers made out of porcelaine. Experimental pieces exploring slip casting and different textures as well as glazes inspired by colors of the mountain.
